In this second episode of the Asymmetrical Podcast, we’re experimenting by separating the news/Community segments and the more ‘evergreen’ segments (interviews, Q&A’s) into different releases, which will result in two episodes per week — one short, one longer — rather than a single compilation episode.

In this episode, we’ve got an interview with the author of the wonderfully poetic and thoughtful blog Brooklyn to Mars, Markus Almond.

We’ve also got a question and answer segment with Colin Wright, where he discusses the best strategy for releasing your book, and how he builds book ‘spines’ in order to write and publish more efficiently.

This podcast is a multi-faceted effort. It is hosted and produced by Shane Stranahan. Ian Robinson is handling the technical backend. And it’s Rebecca Schaffer’s voice that you hear introducing new segments and other interstitials.
